The HY'BRED horseshoe can be used as a true orthopedic device, designed to
allow fluid movement, traction, shock absorption, and as a therapeutic
alternative to traditional shoeing methods.
In testing the validity of the HY'BRED horseshoes' claims, we have been able
to affix our shoe to a number of equine concerns. Case studies have been
conclusive in their findings that the shoe provides significant benefits to the
soundness of the equine athlete. In the design, we recognized the importance of
our clients to have the ability to slide a bit before contact, which enables a
more natural fluid movement. Once the hoof has ground contact, it was equally
important to provide a confident stability which our design offers.
Numerous studies have shown the concussive benefits of a Urethane to ground
over the steel/aluminum to ground connection. The HY'BRED horseshoe provides the
ability to absorb the loading force; significantly providing substantial shock
reduction characteristics. Additionally, the scope of our testing enabled us to
work with horses with multiple pathologies include Osteochondrosis (OCD),
Splints, Sidebone, Ringbone, Arthritis or Degenerative Joint Disease, Caudal
Heel pain and Laminitis. We found that a Farrier could use the HY'BRED horseshoe
in place of traditional shoeing for all the concerns.
HY'BRED feels that by providing as many positives in one package, we will
provide you the Farrier with one more weapon in your arsenal to deal with day to
day shoeing. In summary, with as many reasons to use our shoe, we are confident
that the HY'BRED horseshoe will become part of your shoeing practice.
